Older versions to be aware of
Original Shurink (pre-Universe), original Ulthera (pre-Prime), and Doublo are older HIFU technologies. Some Korean clinics still use them at lower cost. JRYN uses only the latest Universe and Prime versions.

Is Shurink Universe FDA-approved in the US?
No — Shurink Universe is KFDA-approved but doesn't have US FDA approval. Ultherapy Prime is FDA-approved. If you live in the US, you can't get Shurink Universe in the US — it's only available in Korea and certain other markets. Which one hurts more?
