Treatment on Day 2. Recovery built in. Light sightseeing on rest days.

The fundamental rule of a successful Busan dermatology trip: schedule heavier treatments on Day 2, leaving days 3–4 for recovery and rest, and Day 5 for final check-up before flying home. This gives any swelling, bruising, or post-laser redness time to resolve before you board your flight. Light treatments (botox touch-ups, mild boosters) can stack on Day 4. Sightseeing is recovery-aware: Gwangalli sunset, Jagalchi market, Bosu-dong Book Street on rest days — not Geumjeongsan hiking or hot springs. JRYN customizes this template based on your specific treatments and physical limits.

Is 5 days right for you?

When 5 days works ,
and when to extend.

Honest answer: 5 days fits most foreign patients but a few specific cases want longer.

5 days works if you're

  • Doing 1–2 treatments (HIFU + booster, etc.)
  • Light/no makeup tolerance (post-treatment redness)
  • OK with low-activity 1–2 days
  • Have flexible flights in case of swelling
  • Home country has competent dermatology follow-up

Extend to 7+ days if

  • Doing layered acne-scar multi-session protocol
  • Doing deep Fraxel laser (5–7 day peel)
  • Combining treatments needing 48h+ spacing
  • Want time for filler/threadlift settling
  • Want full Seoul + Busan combo trip
  • Are anxious about flying with any swelling

Frequently asked

5-day Busan itinerary
questions.

How do I plan a 5-day Busan dermatology trip?
Day 1: arrival and check-in at a Seomyeon hotel; light walk to JRYN for first consult. Day 2: main treatment day (HIFU, skin booster, or whatever was planned). Day 3: light recovery — Gwangalli Beach sunset, Jagalchi seafood market. Day 4: secondary treatment or follow-up + Haeundae beach trip. Day 5: final check-up at JRYN, departure. Most patients fit 2–3 treatment sessions comfortably.
Can I sightsee right after dermatology treatment?
It depends on the treatment. After botox or skin booster — yes, light walking is fine. After HIFU or laser — give yourself 24 hours of low activity (no sauna, no intense sun, no hot springs). Save more strenuous activities (Geumjeongsan hike, beach swimming) for day 3+ post-treatment. We design itineraries around recovery windows.
Is 5 days enough for multiple treatments?
Yes for 2–4 treatments combined intelligently. For example: Day 2 morning HIFU + skin booster (compatible same-day), Day 4 botox/filler touch-ups + light laser. JRYN coordinates spacing — some treatments can stack same-day, others need 48+ hours apart. Multi-treatment foreign patients save flights and unlock combined-package pricing.
What if I have unexpected swelling or bruising?
We schedule the heaviest treatment on Day 2 specifically so any swelling resolves before your flight on Day 5. Filler bruising is the most common — peaks at 48 hours, resolves by 72. WhatsApp follow-up at 24 hours and 72 hours is standard for JRYN foreign patients. We have on-call protocol for urgent concerns.
Do I need to prep my skin before arrival?
For most treatments — minimal prep. Avoid retinoids 5–7 days pre-laser, no aspirin or fish oil 48 hours pre-injectable (reduces bruising). For acne-scar protocols, we may ask you to start a topical 2 weeks ahead — we discuss this in pre-trip consult. Bring photos of current routine to first appointment.
Can I add Seoul to a 5-day Busan trip?
Tight but possible. Option A: 1 day Seoul (arrival → KTX same day) + 4 days Busan + fly home from PUS. Option B: 3 days Busan treatment + 2 days Seoul recovery sightseeing + fly home from ICN. KTX makes the transit a 2.5-hour commitment. Most international patients prefer concentrating in one city to maximize recovery.
Where should I stay during the 5 days?
Seomyeon — within 5–10 minutes of JRYN — is the most logistically simple. Lotte Hotel Busan (5★, ₩220,000+/night), Hotel Foret Premier Nampo (4★, ₩140,000), Avani Central Busan (3.5★, ₩100,000) are reliable foreign-friendly options. Haeundae beach hotels (Park Hyatt, Westin) are gorgeous but 30 min from clinic — not ideal for treatment days.
What happens on rest days?
Recovery days are intentionally low-impact. Suggested: Gwangalli Beach café tour (45-min taxi), Jagalchi Fish Market lunch (15-min taxi), Bosu-dong Book Street, Gukje Market shopping. Skip Geumjeongsan hike, sauna, and beach swimming until 72+ hours post-HIFU/laser. Spa massage is OK after 48 hours but skip facial massage for 2 weeks post-HIFU.
How much should I budget for 5 days?
Excluding flights and treatments: hotel ($65–$160/night × 4 = $260–$640), food ($30–$60/day × 5 = $150–$300), transport (~$60), activities (~$80). Treatment costs vary widely — typically $1,200–$3,500 for a multi-treatment 5-day program. Total trip: $1,800–$5,000 depending on hotel tier and treatment scope.
How do I book the whole itinerary through JRYN?
